Our Church Staff

Pastor John Stransky

Pastor John has been serving in ministry since 2016 when he was installed as Vicar at St. John Lutheran Church and School, where he was also ordained into holy ministry in 2017. He attended Concordia Seminary St. Louis, earning his Master of Divinity degree in May 2017.

Prior to entering the seminary Pastor John spent 15 years working for various companies with different roles and responsibilities. Most of this time was spent working with two insurance operations where he was in sales, marketing, and communications throughout his career. In addition Pastor John also was active in his local congregation serving many different roles.

In addition to a love for sharing the Gospel with people, Pastor John also enjoys spending as much time as possible with his wife Jennifer and their children. He also enjoys the outdoors and throughout the fall you can find Pastor in the woods, lakes or fields.

Angie Wenzel

Angie has worked at St. John School for many years. Her husband and both of their children attended St. John School through 8th grade. She enjoys the student and public contact that occurs daily thru the school and church office. Her son, Jonathon works at  as a Computer Engineer. Her daughter, Jessica works in Marketing and Communications. Angie’s husband Virgil works for River-view Construction. Angie is an avid gardener, enjoys bow hunting and fishing, watching Packer games and spending time with her husband, family and friends. Her husband Virgil is an avid trapper and hunter, master griller, and also enjoys fishing, Packer games and spending time with family and friends.
