SCRIP

What is the PTL SCRIP PROGRAM?

Scrip is an opportunity to purchase gift cards at face value for approximately 70 different restaurants, gas stations, grocery stores, retail stores and businesses. These places of business have designated a percentage of that face amount to go back to the host Program. The PTL uses ½ of those funds to enhance education at St. John School. The PTL has chosen to allow you to designate where at St. John Church and School you want ½ of that percentage to go ex: tuition credit for the student you designate, general fund, building fund, Jesus Lambs.

How does it work?

  • You can purchase during church office hours or between church services every Sunday.
  • You can fill in a pink scrip card along with payment and send it to school with your child or drop it off in mailbox #5 in the church Narthex the order will be delivered to you.
  • You can talk to one of the scrip coordinators to set up auto renew on your phone.

What if we don’t have cards in the amount you need?

In general scrip orders are placed every Sunday evening and filled by Wednesday of the following week. For some places of business we can get larger amounts on the cards than we have listed on our pink slips. If you want larger amounts you will need to contact the coordinator to special order them for you. (example: You have a building project and want to purchase $1500 at Menards- we can get that for you if we have the order by Sunday delivery by Wednesday)
