Parent Teacher League
All parents of St. John Lutheran School students are automatically members of the P.T.L. (Parent Teacher League) and are encouraged to be actively involved in it by attending meetings and participating in its activities. We would like to encourage everyone to be a part of P.T.L. whether you have children on our school or not. We need everyone to assist us in our mission of helping the children of St. John School grow in their education and love for God. The P.T.L. organizes many events and fundraisers throughout the year such as: Bazaars, Brat frys, Advent cantata dinner, Lutheran Schools Week, Grandparent/Special Friends Day, Last-Day-of-School picnic, Book Fairs, fruit sales, and St. John apparel clothing sales. The profits from events and fundraisers help subsidize needs within the school such as: new computers, fieldtrips for the children, gym and playground equipment and items needed for the teachers to assist them in their classrooms.

Room Parent Coordinators
The Room Parent Coordinator is a form of parental support provided by the P.T.L to help assist the teachers in the classroom. The role of this parent is to communicate between the teachers and the other parents. The parent helps to organize special parties such as Christmas and the teacher’s birthday. The room parent may also be asked to help communicate needs with other parents for special receptions or activities.
The St. John P.T.L. meets the 3rd Thursday of the month at 6:00 in the church library. For more information contact the school office at (715)845-7031 or E-mail firstname.lastname@example.org.
