United Way of Marathon County Volunteer Connection

Wausau, WI- United Way of Marathon County Volunteer Connection coordinated the largest raking project in the area, helping give elderly and disabled residents peace of mind and maintaining independence. In 2021 more than 50 volunteer groups were registered, with more than 500 volunteers, and raked over 100 yards this week. Fall yard cleanup is a great way to volunteer while adhering to safe, social distancing. Groups represented businesses, schools, families, and youth groups including Kolbe & Kolbe, Newman Catholic, Wausau East Wrestling, MC United Soccer, J & D Tube Benders and so many more.
