But someone will say, "you have faith; I have deeds". Show me your faith without deeds, and I will show you my faith by what I do. James 2:18
What we do grows out of what we believe. We have been united with Jesus by our baptism and with one another in his body which is the church. As members of that body, we have been called to and equipped for Christ-like service to one another and the world. Ministering care is a response to God, to God's love and to human need and potential. Some examples of what Care Ministry is involved with are:
*Coordinating Red Cross Blood Drives, Coordinating fundraisers for people in need, Sending cards to shut-ins, seniors and people who are ill, Providing new mothers with needed baby items and meals, Supporting the Greater Christian Services with monitary donations, Food drives for the Salvation Army, Collecting caps and mittens for needy children and Coordinating meals for families recovering from illness or surgery.
The Care Ministry Committee meets the second Wednesday of every month, for more information on how to get involved, call the church office (715) 842-5212 or send an E-mail email@example.com

J.A.M (Jesus and me)
JAM is “Jesus time” during the week!!
In Deuteronomy God gives parents a very specific command which is as follows:
"Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. These commandments that I give you today are to be upon your hearts. Impress upon you children. Talk about them when you sit at home….when you lie down and when you get up. Tie them as symbols on your hands…. Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates.”
Parents have an enormous and important command placed before them.
Midweek is a tool that parents can use to keep Jesus at the forefront of their child/children’s minds.
JAM runs every Wednesday evening from the middle of September to the beginning of May.
It is open to anyone in 1st to 8th grade.
Visitors are always welcome!!
JAM time is from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. The time changes on occasion as need arises, (visitors are encouraged to call ahead in case time has changed that week) church office 715 842-9803.
Our emphasis is on Jesus Christ, God's only son who gave himself for all of us when He suffered and died on the cross for our sins. The children are taught that because He first loved us, now we need to share that love with one another.
Midweek consists of arts and crafts, games, special guests, Bible studies, and snack time.
There are many negative pressures facing our young people today. A place to have good, wholesome fun with other Christian youth, and to grow in their walk with the Lord is needed. Please encourage your youth to be a part of JAM.
Enthusiasm is caught not taught!! Let them feel your excitement.
