And they were bringing children to him that he might touch them, and the disciples rebuked them. But when Jesus saw it, he was indignant and said to them, “Let the children come to me; do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of God. Truly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God like a child shall not enter it.” And he took them in his arms and blessed them, laying his hands on them.

9 So let us not grow weary in doing what is right, for we will reap at harvest time, if we do not give up. 10 So then, whenever we have an opportunity, let us work for the good of all, and especially for those of the family of faith. Galatians 6:9-10
Wednesday Night J.A.M is Jesus and me
In Deuteronomy God gives parents a very specific command which is as follows:
"Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. These commandments that I give you today are to be upon your hearts. Impress upon you children. Talk about them when you sit at home....when you lie down and when you get up. Tie them as symbols on your hands.... Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates."
Parents have an enormous and important command placed before them. J.A.M. is a tool that parents can use to keep Jesus at the forefront of their child/children's minds.
J.A.M runs every Wednesday evening from the middle of September to the beginning of May. It is open to anyone in 1st to 8th grade. Visitors are always welcome!! J.A.M. time is from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. The time changes on occasion as need arises, (visitors are encouraged to call ahead in case time has changed that week) church office 715 842-9803.
Our emphasis is on Jesus Christ, God's only son who gave himself for all of us when He suffered and died on the cross for our sins. The children are taught that because He first loved us, now we need to share that love with one another.
J.A.M. consists of arts and crafts, games, special guests, Bible studies, and snack time.
There are many negative pressures facing our young people today. A place to have good, wholesome fun with other Christian youth, and to grow in their walk with the Lord is needed.
Please encourage your youth to be a part of J.A.M. Enthusiasm is caught not taught!! Let them feel your excitement
